Private Stock, Deep Purple.

Welcome to PRIVATE STOCK. Deep Purple one of the pioneers and greatest rock bands of All Time have gone through many line up changes since they started in England in 1968 the original line up recorded three albums, for the fourth album "Deep Purple in Rock" released in 1970 new singer and bass player replaced original members Rod Evans and Nick Simper. The new line up is to this day considered the classic Deep Purple, they recorded four albums from 1970 to 1973 with that line up"
Jon Lord- organ, keyboards, backing vocals.
Ritchie Blackmore- guitar.
Roger Glover- bass guitar.
Ian Gillan- vocals, harmonica.
Ian Paice- drums, percussion.
Enjoy "highway star" from the early days.

This was a great line up that made history with their world tours and kick ass albums but the band still rocking they keep touring all over the world, they considered to be one of the hardest touring band in the world.
Enjoy another great Deep Purple song, "Child in Time".

Their unique style have many influences; classical music, blues, jazz, progressive and they definitly created a sound.
The band sold over 100 million albums worldwide, they were ranked #22 on VH1's Greatest Artist of Hard Rock. I love this band since the first time I hear them, the way their jam, how the guitar and vocals follow each other, is just a kick ass band, check out "Strange Kind of Woman" and you see what I'm talking about.

Jon Lord retired in 2002 so today Ian Paice is the only original member in the band, this is the current line up:
Steve Morse- guitar
Don Airey- organ, keyboards. (Don played with Rainbow and with Ozzy Osbourne)
Roger Glover- bass guitar.
Joe Lynn Turner- vocals.
Ian Paice- vocals.
After the "classic" Deep Purple line up, my second favorite line up is this;
Jon Lord- organ, keyboards.
Ian Paice- drumms.
Tommy Bolin- guitar.
Glenn Hughes- bass guitar.
David Coverdale- vocals.
This was also a really good line up, here check out "you Keep on Moving" with that line up.
